Do they use the same front or rear brake pads as the 10.25 or D60 front under my 91 F250 4x4? I was told they use the same rotor's front and rear on the 450, yes or no?:dunno...I need to repair the LR brake rotor first thing so it's safe to drive home.

nope.
completely different animal.
parts are unique to the f450 chassis.
fortunately there isn't a whole lot of part number variation from 88-97

Towcat, I was hoping you would chim in. I got a rotor for $65 but they told me $150 for pads per axle so I passed on them. I'll have to call around tommorow for a better deal. I just need to repair it enough to get it home. It runs and drives great.

65 for the rotor is cheap.i payed something like 150 each for mine and i did all 4 at the same time.the pads are usually also another 100-150 bux.get the bendix if you can.i got 2 1/2 years out of my fronts on my car carrier.and im constantly between 10,000 and 16,000 pounds gross when loaded.also remember that pads, rotors and calipers are the same for front and rear.and as calvin said most chassis parts are identicle between 88-97

Thanks for the offer but I will buy a full set and do both sides. The RR rotor looks good and I think it will MIC ok for MVI. The steer axle rotors look ok but I plan to pull all 4 wheels to inspect the pads, hoses and etc. It needs 4 shocks (rusted bad and probably the originals) and the helper springs are pretty near worn through....LOL...I'm going to bring it it during my lunch tommorow and do an MVI on it to make a list. The LR rotor was broken in 1/2 right down the middle so that needs an immediate repair.
