Long story shortened...

My battery trouble continued. Wally World specials were replaced w/ Diehards. Chased a short to ground back to the #8 fuse. I'm getting ready to start looking thru my Ford electrical manual. Right now I know it is tied to the speedo / odometer, radio and courtesy lights. Anybody "been there done that" to save me some time?

Thanks to an "un named" lurker ( ;Sweet :hail ) I was directed to a TSB for a short caused by the dome light mounting screw that is used to complete the circuit contacting the roof ("when travelling at highway speeds") and causing a direct short to grround. Hmm, sounds like my issue. I will keep you posted.

I think I have it narrowed down to the driver door courtesy light switch. I have had problems w/ it in the past. I pulled it and will look up a price here shortly.

The bad news is the minivan came home on a early 90's F-Series Super Duty gasser last night. -cuss
