no but i will with this new filter i didnt replace the old filter just dumped mine out. i hope its not the ip i cant afford one of those right now. i hope the atf an diesel kleen fixes it! also the oil pressure is not coming up while its cranking? it does every morning while im cranking on it but not since this last time it died??

Sounds like air intrusion to me, put some clear return line on it and watch for bubbles. When it dies have you removed the fuel filter to see if it's empty?
If it idles fine forever, then dies when you increase RPM's, this indicates that the fuel supply is not sufficient. If you have verified fuel presure and volume at the schrader valve using the recommended tests, your next step would be to check the fuel inlet screen in the IP. This is risky, and you should be prepared to commit to a rebuilt IP in the event you screw it up, but I can walk you through it if you want to try it.
