6.9 in place of 7.3

After destroying my 7.3 I am going to replace it with a 6.9 that has been sitting for a while. But I have a couple of questions.

1. Can the 7.3 rockers be used in the 6.9?

2. Can the Valve covers be used from the 7.3?

3. Can the Exhaust maifolds be used from the 7.3?

I am going to pull the heads on the 6.9. So what is the best gaskets to get?

and yes. (there is a difference between exhaust manifolds between E and F series trucks that had diesels but that is not engine specific between the two different IDIs)

I've been satisfied with felpro gaskets. But thats all I can really get locally, so I can't comment on other brands.

Yep yep yep. Like he said. And I also use Fel Pro. Cant really go wrong with them.

Yes it can. Make sure though that the 7.3 has had proper SCA's all throughout its life, to minimize the chance of cavitation.
