I have some shift flare problem just developed for my truck.
Some history:
The last owner experienced some problem with shifting, and decided to install a new reman tranny. At that time, tranny cooler was flushed, and no trouble for around 8000km.
After the first 8000km, there were some problem with poor shifting again, and the reman tranny was replaced under warranty, along side a new tranny cooler
I am the new owner since then.
One day morning I drove for 15 mins, and suddenly I experienced shift flare (2nd, neutral for a second, then bang shift into 3rd). It has been about 8000km again after the last tranny replacement.
What should I do to inspect? After the problematic shifting happened, I stopped driving immediately.
