Here is that cheap 4x4 turbo diesel everyone has been looking for. This truck is a 1993 Ford F-250 XLT 4x4 with the unstoppable International I.D.I. 7.3L diesel. To top it all off this thing has the ever popular ATS turbo kit. It also has the E4OD automatic overdirve transmission. With around 175,000 miles this truck does have some problems but nothing major. I have put a lot of time and effort into this truck but to be honest I am a fat kid and I want an extended cab. The turbo has been updated with an ATS 4" downpipe down to and 5" straight exhaust. The engine itself has a lot of new parts including the following: Fuel Filter ($25), Starter ($150), Fuel injector return lines and tees ($75), Belt ($20), idler pulley ($25), WIX air filter ($35), and a newer water pump and thermostat. The batteries are around 1 year old, I pulled them out of my other truck and i put them in that truck last winter. I HAVE NEVER TURNED THE PUMP UP ON THIS TRUCK. So what the engine really needs are 2 major things, it needs the pump turned up, it smokes a little grey which is indicitive of a lean condition, so I know the pump needs to be turned up a little. It also needs a TPS or the TPS on it adjusted. The transmission is picky about how and when it shifts depending on how the TPS is adjusted. I have talked to multiple guys in online forums and they have said the same thing, take it to a transmission shop that caters to diesel trucks and they can adjust with a special tool. The suspension is tight with new moog ball joints that set me back almost $300 to put in. The interior is in so-so shape the seat has a tear in it and the blower motor does not work. The tires on this thing are monster. The are TSL superswampers measuring in at 34-9.50-16". This truck is not perfect buy any means but the power windows and locks still work along with the cruise control. The exterior and interior do need a good cleaning I have been working in the fields lately and the mud inside and out reflects that. Really I just want to trade this truck for one of the following and they must be a daily driver: 1988-newer chevy full size truck v-8 ext cab. 4x4, 1995-newer dodge ram 4x4 ext. cab., 1992-newer f-series ext cab. 4x4 or BEST CASH OFFER.
