1989 f350 7.3 oil gauge reads past L and accelerating it reads normal

I just replaced my return fuel line system. Put it all back together and started it up idles fine, when I went to drive it I noticed the oil gauge and engine light. Checked oil it's full, but driving the truck it runs really rough. Thanks in advance for any help.

Guage is glorified idiot light...get mechanical guage to know for sure

Replace olives too....if uou dont knkw what they are search...tons of threads on em....where they are located etc.

Air can and will cause rough running...run truck a bit and see if works out

I removed those a while back with rubber fuel line and hose barbs. Saving up to convert to JIC fitting with steel braded hose.
