Here's what I have. I bought a 1988 F250 not running from a lady that lives near me. She's a retired Ford factory worker that had this truck for driving around and pulling her boat here and there. The starter cable was just close enough to the solenoid post that they touched and the starter spun, not engaged to the flywheel, but spun until the brushes melted through the case of the starter. The truck sat a couple of weeks in her driveway, and she decided that she didn't need it anymore. I bought it, put a starter in it and its a good running/driving truck. The original mileage is 138k, the ZF 5-speed shifts smooth in all gears and the clutch is tight. It has new Hankook tires on it and some body work has been attempted. It has rust, the rockers and floors have been patched, and there is some bondo here and there. Its not a show queen by any stretch, but its a good looking truck at 50' or so. She had put a newer hood and drivers fender on and a new back bumper. Its all in primer grey right now ready for someone to give it a new color. The bed's in good shape, not full of holes.
I don't know what the gears are, but I would bet 4:10 or 3:73 by the way it runs. It will boogie right up to 65 as fast as you can row through the gears, I was very impressed. It does have an exhaust leak, sounds like where the pipe bolts to the passenger manifold. 4x4 works and it has manual lock outs. The interiour is plain, no power options or air. But it is pretty clean and looks well kept.

I am not looking to make a lot of money from the truck, but I knew I could buy it, fix it and flip it for a small profit. If it where an ext or crewcab I would keep it. If it doesn't sell in a couple of weeks, my Dad's gonna buy it for a farm truck.

Its on CL for $2500 or best, I would like to get $2k out of it. Make me an offer, like I said I just bought it to sell for a small profit.
