04 transmission recall

Over on TDR TBrennan has a link about a recall on the 04 transmission cooler line to the Dodge site. You put in your last 8 numbers of the VIN and it will pull it up or you can call 1-800-853-1403

Got the recall in the mail today when I got home.This is what it says--The problem is....The transmission cooler line on your truck can transmit high pressure pulses when the vehicle is operated at heavy loads.These pulses may cause the engine-mounted cooler to crack and leak fluid which could result in significant transmission damage.
What DC and your dealer will do...DC will repair your vehicle free of charge(parts and labor).To do this the dealer will replace the transmission cooler line.Etc,etc.
So if you got a 04 you should be getting one of these.

I got two for my '03. One for the tranny cooler line and one for the PCM harness connector. Seems water can get in and cause problems with O/D and cruise control.
