I have to replace the mechanical fuel pump on my 12V 6BT. The problem I have is the truck is still in the donor rig and I need it running for now. When I pull it I plan to drop it in the frame rails of a 96 F350. I was planning on converting it to an electric fuel pump by then. So, instead of spending money on a fuel pump I plan to replace before I get my money’s worth out of it I wanted to what was involved in converting it. Also, I would like to use a Ford electric fuel pump just so it will be easier as far as replacing parts later. I was thinking a fuel pump from a 99 and up Superduty might be a good idea. Any feedback on this?
