i got a mid 80s f250 4wd with a 6.9 i was wondering if the front ttb out of the 4wd will fit in my 2wd f250 7.3 truck or does it take modifications to the brackets and if it takes modifications to the brackets what kind.thanks
you do not need to release the pressure in the system before taking off the main filter. as for the smaller filter the one you described is a water separator it has metal screen filter in it. the system works great for big trucks. for replacement filters just call a local peterbilt shop they...
that filter is off of a 4600 series catepillar motor thats in semis and etc. the smaller of the two filters is the water separator then the filter with the primer is the main filter and the primer is for when your out of fuel or you have an air leak it the system so you get re-prime the fuel...
i have them on my semi and all they do is push force down on the blade farther from the wiper arm.they just clip under the wiper arm and push on top of the blade. i have had them a long time and i drive a pete and normally they lift off the windsheild and interstate speed and would move all...
they sell these black or chrome spring steel peices that are called wiper snuggies at truckstops etc that eliminate wiper floating on the glass that on semis and other vehicles. i would google it they are like $8.
that is call the lower ignition actuator and it is what attaches to the ignition lock cylinder ant the ignition switch pushrod and without it you wont be able to start your truck.
