    did it before the caps and o-rings. i'm trying to fix it when i can. started with the fuel filter, then caps and o rings. just replaced the hose from feul line to lift pump. it's a work in progress 4 me

    well i'm doing that and notta, so here's a question, will this small leak ever leave me stranded? i know it takes a bit to get it to start but could it die once it's running.

    rubber hose on lift pump is good. gonna cut the ends and make sure they aren't the problem

    tank rusted at the seam, i understand it's sucking air but wouldn't it leak fuel at the same time though? and lift pump is diesel term for fuel pump. thanks!

    i only use my front tank. the rear leaks. could that be the problem even if my switch is on the front tank? and where is the lift pump? whats it do

    yes i did replace that, i notice that right before it runs out of fuel it dumps alot and smokes like a mother!

    X a million. it's sad how fast i can unhook my batteries, pull connections off of the starter, clean em, and hook it all back up. man that first start.... so much power

    me too. I like when they wizz around you and get stuck in town. diesels sit and the perfect level to just shine the lights in. plus when you get up on THEIR ass it's like, OMG this guy is gonna run my ass over! hahaha and if you got a good ol turbo diesel, they aint gettin away.

    so i got the converter in and truck works good so far. all i did was make my own 3 inch downpipe and the throttle response is like night and day and it makes lots'o black smoke when i get into it. :rock: what changed soo much from just changing that pipe?

    torgue converter sounds like a baby rattle. i'm on the hunt. i'm keeping all my fingers crossed that it didn't hurt anything in the rest of the trans though cuz i'm taped out at the moment. -Playme

    should be. sounds almost like my 94 when it was reved, i don't have that much of a whistle at an idle though :(

    um, yeah i pulled it. that's how i know that the input shaft is ok. so what do i do, drain it and play rattle toy? dumb question though, if the torque converter is shot how's come i still had 65 on the gauge?
