I'm looking into swaping a ctd into my ford and have a goal of 300 to 350 hp. I wonder if I'm going to need a wastegated turbo for those kind of numbers.... I under stand that a waste gate allows for more bost at a lower engine speed and stops the turbo from over bosting at higher engine...

anyone know what years the 12v had the turbo flange at a 90 degree angle to the exhaust flange?...most seem to come out at a 45 or less... and can you flip one around?

Do the 12valve's have replaceable cyclinder sleeves? I'm wondering cause some engine rebuild kits I've been looking at on-line say they come w/sleeves... just wondering if there a repair sleeve or the wet sleeve... thanx in advance
