    '85 6.9 4wd auto flatbed

    thank you for the reply,, i got it on cl for $1,500. will have to see if my son can get photos over to this site, the truck is a good runner but needs a lot of stuff to get it up to where it should be....turn signal, brake lights,wiper blades,fuel guage, oil leaks, etc.

    need to let it go,,,st. louis mo. area. engine runs strong, it would need some work to make it a daily driver, but a good project.

    oil pan crack

    have discovered a crack in my (6.9) oil pan, of course it is up over the cross member where i can't get to it to jb weld it. any ideas/methods on raising engine up vs. pulling it out alltogether ( which would allow repairing/replacing other items like oil cooler, valve cover gaskets etc.).

    Oil on concrete

    have had good success on black oil stajns by spreading cat litter, cheap generic stuff, and working in with a brick, it pulverizes cat litter and makes it super absorbant. it does not take too much time/effort either.

    Transfer case not shifting into Neutral or 4 Low

    same problem had same problem yesterday, lots of gear clashing, shifted trans to neutral, then reversed about 10ft. got into low, then could not get back out. had to shut off engine for a few seconds, allowing spinning gears to stop, then finally got back to 4wd high. this is a part time...

    2WD TO 4WD, DANA 60 UNDER MY F250

    don't get crushed ! this is my first posting so i will be brief. just a warning to all of us who work under heavy loads, "trucks" , that can fall faster than you can get out from under. i have seen and been involved with many similar under vehicle jobs using portable jacks and/or jackstands...
