    New engine, No power

Yes, that's the right place. I bought the turbo engine with a Centurion a few years back. Like you, I had been looking for a long time.

    New engine, No power

OK, I got my MT480 fixed. It needed a capacitor and some wiring under the tach meter. I've set it at 5 degrees ATDC @ 2000 RPM, using the luminosity probe. The power has come up quite a bit. It still won't tow my small 5th wheel at highway speeds. I thought maybe the fuel pressure was dropping...

    New engine, No power

Not enough. The timing marks ended up a dimes width toward the passenger side.

    New engine, No power

OK, bumped the timing a dimes width, and it runs great. It's suprizing that so little adjustment can make a huge difference. Thanks guys!

    New engine, No power

Thanks, I'll try retarding first. The fuel supply pump is the same.

    New engine, No power

I like this method. I know exactly what you're talking about. Will attempt in the morning.

    New engine, No power

EGT's seem a little higher. Normal driving on the old engine was around 600F, now it's 800F.

    New engine, No power

I recently built a 7.3, factory turbo engine, and put it in my crew cab. It doesn't have any power, and I can't get it to boost past 8-9 psi. The old engine with the same turbo did 10-12psi, with the original compressor wheel. It has a Wicked Wheel 2, new injection pump/injectors, return line...

    Intercooled, now having heat issues

There wasn't a problem until I put the giant intercooler, and giant condenser in. I think they're blocking a lot of air flow. The problem doesn't appear until the low 90's. I think I'll try to pump grease into the clutch fan, like a read someone did here. That, or make some tabs to keep it...

    Intercooled, now having heat issues

Is there a more efficient radiator that's not junk? I've seen a few mentioned here, but they seem hit or miss.

    Intercooled, now having heat issues

Would it hurt anything to direct couple the fan to the pulley, removing the clutch entirely?

    Intercooled, now having heat issues

The truck was off when it was puking, but I think that was from the old cap. The new one actually holds pressure. I was checking the temp with the truck idling, but it was a few seconds after pulling off the road.

    Intercooled, now having heat issues

It feels pretty tight when it's hot. Would a slipping clutch fan matter at highway speed?

    Intercooled, now having heat issues

Ok, I added a intercooler from a 99 7.3, and fitted a condenser from Crown Vic to the front of a 92 F350, Turbo-ed 7.3. It was 92 degrees today, and the temp gauge went past the L of the Normal range. It started puking coolant at a store we stopped at, and I added 1 gallon to make it full again...

    My arduino gauge project

Sorry it's been a while. I got the permanent circuit built, and it seems to work. Still need to add two more data fields, one for pressure, and one for temp. Here is the board I made from Ifrythings drawing. The trans temp field is missing the powered portion because, as he said, the temp sensor...

    My arduino gauge project

I'm going to make a bracket to carry the spare under the rear tank. It'll hang a little low, but the plan is to drag a 5th wheel long distance with my kids. I WILL have a spare.

    My arduino gauge project

Are you using the GM oil pressure sensor for the fuel pressure? I'm just looking at the rear tank temp, and gambling the fuel has enough density to keep it's temp through the fuel lines, all the way to the IP. Monitoring fuel pressure is just to make sure it's not restricted. I've ran 100% WMO...

    My arduino gauge project

No, I don't have the intelligence to add anything original. I do want to add two extra fields. Fuel temp and pressure, diff/coolant/trans temps, and oil pressure, it where I want to end up. The fuel temp thing is for the WMO. We changed the rear tank to the 38 gallon version. That's 10 feet of...

    My arduino gauge project

I'm building the electronics for the sensors right now. The PCB and terminals came in yesterday. Should be done around the end of the week. The credit for ALL of this belongs to ifrythings. There's no way I could do this on my own.

    My arduino gauge project

OK, I've built one of the filters. It works! Now to build some more, and get the sensors. Thanks for the filter design!

    My arduino gauge project

Well, shoot. I plugged in a NTC type sensor, and the all went to -40. The resistance was checked against a resistance table, and made sense (8.3k for around 85 degrees F). I doesn't matter which pin I put it on (A0-A3), all the fields change to the displayed picture below. I'm using the 5V pin...

    My arduino gauge project

Alright! Up and running! I ran the script you gave me, it gave me 0x3F. Changed the address from 0x27 to 0x3F. Thank you for the time spent on figuring this out. I couldn't have done it without your help.

    My arduino gauge project

Thanks! It compiled and uploaded. I've got data in the serial monitor now. The display is still inop, but maybe I got a bad screen. Let me check on a couple of things...... Thank you! I showed some people at Christmas what you're doing, they thought it was really cool.

    My arduino gauge project

That worked! It compiles and uploads now. The display isn't working. Looks a little different than the one in your picture, but i think that may be because its newer? I bought it two days ago. Its hooked up right, I think. This is the Amazon page I bought it from...
