W 4 A O4O AILMENT
Sarah, my 85 300TD developed a bellyache last evening, her slushbox dosent want to pull off from a dead stop slightest amount of foot press on fuel pedal causes eng to flare up until to about 5-7 mph when she catchs 2nd [normal shift] then all is well 3d & 4th fine tight normal shifts been 10k...- bng

WHERE 2 POST THIS ? 1 u dont C everyday
me & sarah {M/B 85 TD} have 10k miles together 1yr could't ask 4 better transportation.Only fluid she consumes is #2 diesel, no fluid loss between services only 176 K.However if she & a holloween witch entered a beauty contest sarah would loose. rust, missing trim, destroyed int., seat springs...- bng

coolant temp. sensor info
greetings ; im looking for temp to ohms spec sheet on thermistor. my 617 powered 85 td dash indicator shows 90 & laser reads 72 on top rad. hose. fuel indicator operates normally . many thanks regards bng- bng

rldsl i have been in ref biz 4 30+ yrs & always thought that filter AFTER exspantion device was bassakwards re: gm chry ford used xvs & comps that had a lube sump, that was then this is now. enginering has changed in some cases 4 the better others just depends on how u view it. im semi retired &...- bng

rldsl thnks 4 info on vot but i see no mention of a liq. line filter/drier that 4 seasons & other parts marketers offer to keep metering device clean. as oem uses a built in the accu AFTER the ot . next job i get with 'black death'' after flush & llf napa will be my supplier 4 ot again thnks butch- bng

What the heck is this? Extra fuel return?
yeah its also a source of air entry from dribling return line pia o rings . I simply changed it to a 1/4mp x 3/8 ff 90o elbo also silver brazed sight glasses in oulet of ff line & i/p return. no more bubbles or surprises [a couple of return lines still weep but no more hard starts. hope it helps...- bng

6.9 gear reduction [not delco] starter
when veh was 1st puchased it had delco non reduction gear [made in usa] that was xchanged for a r/g mitsu. not having delco core any longer to get repaired at local str/alt shop im stuck with xchange [imports mitsu & nippo] thanks 4 responce bng- bng

6.9 gear reduction [not delco] starter
have above mentioned starter that turns eng over at normal crank speed for 5-6 revolutions then quits like it has a thermal o/l opening up. a few hrs later it will repeat the perfomance. anyone have a exploded view of this imported starter? many thanks butch- bng
