I just read the tech on how to time the IDI with the ferrett intstruments and the digital timing light, it looks like when the light is firing the rpm is 660 and you can adjust the injection pump rotation to achieve the mark on the balancer lining up when it fires so 0 degrees at this point...
My sister's 1990 7.3 starts and idles, even revs up but once she puts the C-6 in drive or reverse the engine just dies.She had a dealer work on the steering column a while back.
Would anyone have an idea as to this,can it be wiring, as a loss of power to the injection pump so it just shuts off?
