    #5 club... Need advice :dunno

    The trucks slight ticking turned into a louder ( not horrible, just mor noticable) ticking. So I stopped driving it. I just pulled the valve cover and all the rockers and discovered that i can wiggle around the #5 exhaust valve. so it needs a valve job. My dilemma is, I NEED to sell the truck...

    Its a scam to get you to buy more fuel. If you can buy b-20 your mileage will be same as or better (better in my golf TDI, Same in my truck) than old diesel.

    Exhaust leak. How to find it?

    How to hunt down exhaust leak? Anyone know? I at first thought I had the bad valve guide problem. But, the truck runs fine no miss and the "ping" has turned into more of a "piff". other than visual inspection is there something else? Soapy water? thanks

    Bought it in detroit. stored indoor for winter since '96 (per PreOwners) the rust isnt all that bad if you look at it. the one bad spot I have with my finger in it is the worse of it. I am open to offers, would like it gone sooner than later.
