E4OD Shift solenoid - 2wd or 4wd?
Gotta replace my shift solenoid for my '93 E4OD, I know it has to be within the 89-94 for electrical reasons, but does it specifically have to be a 4wd or 2wd model solenoid? I've seen some listed as either or but it seems like it almost doesn't matter. My trucks a 4wd. Can anyone confirm that...- Oldtowntrucks

"Start terminal" on ignition switch? Wire color/location?
Got a 1993 f250 7.3 idi with an E40D, finally took a leap of faith to get away from my failing transmission computer and other PSOM stuff and bought a US Shift trans computer. Hooked up all other leads just fine but am stuck looking for the ignition switch "start terminal" for my Neutral...- Oldtowntrucks

injection pump replacement
My old pump is leaking pretty bad, time to replace it off my '93 f250 7.3 idi e40d. Looking to purchase a reman one hopefully to save on some cost, probably from Rockauto unless their is another suggestion. Looking at this Delphi Stanadyne reman IP...- Oldtowntrucks

high idle solenoid mod?
Anybody know if it'd be possible to unplug the high idle (cold start) solenoid and have it rigged to your own toggle switch other than being run by the system? Not sure if i'd change anything for the operation of the engine, other than of course having to have that feature as manual choice then...- Oldtowntrucks

93 E40d TPS Adjustment
Hi there, noobie here so go easy :) Read thru the offical oil burners TPS adjustment post (https://www.oilburners.net/threads/whats-a-fipl.4134/) as well as many many other forums online to no avail. Post says wire A is reference, B is ground & C is the throttle signal with idle position...- Oldtowntrucks

'93 F250 Rear Window Gasket
Hi there, I have a '93 F250 XLT 7.3 IDI with the sliding glass back window that whistles/howls when it's closed going down the highway and it's driving me nuts. Yeah I could just crank up the tunes and avoid it, but sometimes it's nice to hear that IDI rumble :) I'm wondering if for my truck...- Oldtowntrucks
