No fuel at injector lines
UPDATE!!!!!! Thanks to all for your help and suggestions. Took them and started from scratch. Replaced filter again(just in case), cleaned fuel screen in sump/heater, primed and after quite a few tries it fired, semms to run fine now, other than it's a little hard to start. Fuel shutoff it opperating OK. Pulls up on start and stays up on run. Just to be sure I wired it up manually still no run.- wildbill_hickup

Well got my 94 RAM 2500 back to the house. Thanks for the help in the 911 section. Finally had to get it towed. Haven't had much time to look at it, but hear is what I know. I have fuel at return line banjo fitting on IP, both with primer pump and while cranking, no fuel at the injector lines...- wildbill_hickup

94 Dodge 2500 5.9L Died/cranks but won't Start
Checked fuel shut off, wasn't pulling up. Turned ign on and pulled up manually. it stayed in the up/on possision. Truck still won't start. Truck down, stange smell inside cab (not burning wire) like break fluid or a small amount of either. Pulled into a store lot and engine died. Have fuel, all gauges OK last time I looked before failure, no noises prior to failure. Just died!!! Checked autoshutdown relay to see if it smell burnt...- wildbill_hickup

OK, It may not be as good as I thought. Mercedes Diesel Not Clean Enough
I may have this wrong but somewhere I read or heard that the tests won't allow BD. Here in Vermont VW dealers won't even sell diesel versions of their cars due to the fact that they won't 'pass' BD is not an issue, because one could, if one wanted to use pump diesel in ones car instead of BD and...- wildbill_hickup

Guess I'll have to check into the fuel line kit. This one was all steel, walls of line still seem to be pretty thick (approx .025 - .030) and there is mot much rust. Must have been metal fatuge from vibration that caused it to break, cause it didn't look like corrosion. I thought about cutting...- wildbill_hickup

Screwy fuel gauge on 94 Ram 2500
Yep, that's my plan for that problem fo now. Allready did a milage check. Most of my driving is around town so I clock it for just that 257 miles have to work to squeeze 13 gallons in the tank. Rubberfish, Well I couldn't do it with hose and clamp, piece on pump end to short. I was able to heat that up and remove the old stub, clean up the line and rebrazed it. Had a little issue with priming the system and restarting but all is OK now. Thanks again for your help.- wildbill_hickup

Ya I got it, boy did I get it!!! I did get it and hve been trying to find out from Dodge if any of the problems have been addressed in the past. They're useless. Today while driving home I smelled diesel fuel, open the hood and fuel is spraying all over from what I think is the return line...- wildbill_hickup

Can anyone give me the critical dimensions of the jig. Say from the centers of the two mounting bolts to the center of the drill hole and how far back from the edge of the case is the drill hole. Pyro clam-on probe at BP
sle2115, yas I missunderstood 'clamp-on' I did think it just was a clampon device to clampto the manifold. However just drilling a single small hole is probably better than all that tapping.- wildbill_hickup

Pyro clam-on probe at BP
At Banks Power the mention a Pyro with a clamp on probe. Has antone used one of these and how well do they work? Are they insulated so ambient air temp is less of a factor? I assume they measure the temp of the manifold so they are going to be somewhat slower in reaction time.- wildbill_hickup

Screwy fuel gauge on 94 Ram 2500
Just got my truck and the previous owner said that the fuel gauge didn't work. It was on empty so I decided to put a few gallons in there and start to look for a problem (connections, grunds etc) Well After adding 10 gallons of fuel the gauge actually went further down. Diesel S-10 Blazer/PU????
