    It will pull it fine but you wont be doing 70 up any steep hills. The standard transmission is more reliable than the automatic but the automatic is better for shifting on hills because you dont lose your turbo spool between shifts.     Don't know if you found your answer yet but I had a similar set of symptoms once and it turned out to be a cracked injector cup. Make sure you check your coolant for fuel. I also don't recall if this was said yet but make sure to check all the injector and glow plug wiring over very closely...

    Ya it has to be run above 2500 rpm to get anywhere near the 6 psi Mark. Good to know though cuz I have been thinking about just putting a center cartridge in it. Did yours have excessive shaft play or hard to turn or anything to show it was worn out? Sent from my LG-H700 using Tapatalk
