    Oh sorry my bad i almost forgot that the front main seal is leaking very fast, i have some "rear main sealer" fluid i'm gonna try when i get it running, ive never done one of those on any engine i've ever owned so would i need to take off the front cover anyway? Thank you both for the advice.

I took the timing gear out and since i cant see the cam gear what is the easiest way to correctly mesh the gears so that its correctly timed, do i have to pull all the accessory drive and harmonic balancer and front cover...

    So I'm pulling the pump, I checked it while cranking again and I don't hear the pump chattering, so maybe the shaft did break. I might have checked it wrong before. I took the top cover off and it was full of fuel, not gelled at all. So fuel is going in it's just not getting out.

    Already tried that, the ether just made her knock-aknock-aknock-aknock there is zero fuel going anywhere past the injection pump inlet, I just don't know, they don't just suddenly break do they?

    Oh that's high idle, ok, no it has never worked. I use a stick to warm her up. I do have a tach and I crank at about 400. I just tried starting with to cars jumped to it and it spun like crazy, like above idle speed, probably to 600 rpm. Nothing, not a sputter or a cough.

    Yep I hear a click, although I did notice a second wire to a sort of solenoid to the left of the ip, and that wire has no power, but the fuel shutoff switch does have 12v to it.
