    I've never driven an e4od truck. The fuel leaks are narrowed down to return cap o-rings now for the most part. Think that could cause the trans to shift weird? It also has a very hard time starting. Has electric lift pump.

    I recently did a zf5 swap and love it. I'm just wondering what rpm yall usually shift at on the daily cruise? I have been shifting around 2100 and am very easy on the throttle. i drive like a grandpa. flat roads where i live. trying to see what is the best for MPG.

    I am using a Luk SMF with the M-pact clutch disc and pressure plate. Works perfect. I went this route instead of the DMF because I didn't want another clutch to worry about going out eventually... and it's cheaper for SMF. lol. I figured our trucks will never be quiet anyway, so who cares...

    I believe Vintage Air is the most popular brand folks go with. I don't have any experience with it, but they seem to work good. Luckly, the brick nose dash (passenger side) provides quite a lot of knee room to play with, you might lose your glove box, but I think there is plenty of room.

    mine grinds going into reverse unless I put it into a gear first and then go to reverse. or if it's the first gear I put it in after I start the truck. kinda weird, but no big deal. keep us updated on what you do to fix it.

    lol, it was mostly a joke. I'll be 70's here this weekend. Supposedly no more 80+ days this year for us. I'll believe it when Jan 1 rolls around. haha. The cold weather should make a great platform for selling glowplug systems! You should run a special! hahaha

    Good to know! Thanks guys. I guess this radiator just does the job too well. I'll pop in the new thermostat and play with grill block-offs to get the temp back to ~180.

    I actually have a motocraft thermostat and gasket ready to go in... I've just never ran a thermostat on my old vehicles because I live in the pits of hell (I actually love it, but it's always hot here) and wanted my engines to run as cool as possible. Haha
