'93 Ford 7.3 IDI E40d computer issue help
I think my computer is toast but need to be thorough before sending it off for repair/replace. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sequence of events over several weeks/month. replaced tach sensor but still no tach & E40 D limp mode
started with intermittent tach failure followed by E40 starting out in 2nd gear. next time i started '93 7.3 idi tach worked tranny was fine. 3rd time no tach and wiggled sensor wires and tach came on. so i replaced the tach sensor and still have dead tach. next step? many thx for any help Scott- scott reavis
