Careful. Not everything looks like that down here, lol. Overall update... I'm heading out today to go look at an '07 f450. Standard cab, auto, short bed, 2wd. Mileage is sitting at 209k. It has the 6.0, but I'm figuring any issues that those engines have, have probably been fixed by now...- Florida Chris

You positive? My (father's) vehicles in the past have pulled 15k many times with me as a driver, under the 26k threshold, combination or not. 17k rated trailer. What exactly am I missing? As far as the 4wd is concerned, it's a necessity for a few places I go most times of the year.- Florida Chris

Reworked how I will need to haul, if I purchase this '93. Got my weight down to 12,100, including trailer weight. From what I've read it seems I'm within towing capacity now. Assuming good brakes on the truck, and new brakes with trailer, do I have adequate stopping power? I live in Central...- Florida Chris

I can get a CDL, yes, but I don't want to just to be able to pull a tractor. I might see about downsizing the length of the trailer to see my weight and then revisit what size truck is needed.- Florida Chris

From what I can find I'm between 11 and 13000 towing capacity. Are there any options out there to increase that amount while staying legal and under the CDL requirements? Edit: the 15k total is my load and the trailer weight itself. Kaufman said the particular model I'm looking at weighs in at...- Florida Chris

It's a n/a with 240k on the truck and 50k on the engine. Good maintenance records with it. 1 owner vehicle, relatively easy life on the truck. Edit: 6 new tires, recently replaced radiator and starter (1 year). Asking price of $3500, I believe I can get it for 3.- Florida Chris
