    Sounds to me like the timing is retarded by a few degrees which will cause the smoke Suggest that you consider moving the injection pump about the thickness of a dime a small move makes a difference. then and see if that helps. not sure how you set the timing but without the correct meter doing...

    cummins 12v exhaust manifolds

    If your still looking for that manifold I bought one for my conversion from fordcummins cost was I think 300 to my door (s&h included) new. I talked to Ryan there very helpful. I "aimed" mine down so the exhaust would be easier to run and to keep the heat away from the a/c heat box. Hope this helps.

    Not to sure where to start some of these fords run hot I bought mine new and it has heating issues from the non turboed state till now I'm in the process of tring to correct this myself right now. I just replaced the radiator with an oem type with the agreement with the guy he would build me one...

    Help! With engine mounts

    Just loosen the nuts that attach the mount to the frame the hole is slotted some then put the bolts in the engine snug them up then lower the engine to the frame so it settles down where it belongs then snug up those nuts. Good to go?

    Sounds like you have taken the bolts out of the engine block and left the frame "saddle bolts tight" if so you can loosen the ones on the frame and get some movement. just a thought.
