    Plug instead of glow plug controller

    I have a 460 to 6.9 swap and have always had my glow plugs on a momentary switch. I am redoing the heads and see no reason for the glow plug controller to be there. I plan to replace it with a pipe plug unless there is something I am missing. Thoughts? Thanks, Casey

    Speedometer off

    I swapped 4 speeds, the factory that was behind the 460 for a 4 speed from a 6.9. My speedo was right on prior to swap. Now it is about 7 or 8 mph off at 70, it read slow. I have tried a couple different gears and have been able to change it but not to correct. Anyone have any ideas...

    Pretty good mileage and go with junior moose and moose misters

    I have finally been able to check mileage after a couple trips. Empty the truck weighs 7200 lbs. running 70-80 I am getting 15. Grossing about 13-14 k with welding trailer and running 70 it is getting 12-14. Pretty pleased.
