Apologies for the delay, int. has been down for 2 days. I removed the schrader valve stem and had my helper turn the key. Fuel shot out!. Replaced the valve stem and the truck started immediately. Next morning . . . . no start without ether. Disgusted, took it to my diesel mechanic.

My '91 F250 7.3 has developed a fuel pick up problem, When the truck is parked with the nose uphill it will not start unless I give it a shot of ether. Any ideas shared will be appreciated.
Macrobb, you were correct. Both wires are bare and were touching. O'reilley's carries a Dorman part# 926-323 and I will get one today. Thank you and all the other helpful guys that keep me rolling.
