    No power to ip

    Hi all .i have a 90 idi. I ran a wire from my electric fuel pump to my switched wire on the ip. I think that wire grounded out and now i have no power to the ip . Any ideas?

    Sudden smoker

    Got it running. I put in an i.p. from badger diesel. No smoke no miss or stutter. Runs great. Hope my struggles can help others. Thanks for all the input.

    Its definitely fuel. No oil consumption. And the injectors were the cheapest i could find. Lol . But there was no change when i replaced them. Was going to bump the timing. If that doesnt work i am going to put a spare ip on. Thing just bafflels me.

    Ut smells like unburnt diesel.didnt see any bubbles in the coolent. Truck ran perfect. I let it sit for two days and bam white smoke.

    My 7.3 is doing the same thing. Ran perfect 1 day and the next white smoke and a miss.i did a compression check and all was well. Could you smell burnt oil ?

    Have a 7.3 that blows white smoke .alot. no air bubbles in the return lines. And has consistently shown 440# of compression on all 8. Any ideas?

    Okay. Put in an electric fuel pump and chased down some air leaks. Smokes much less then before,has plenty of power. But still smokes to much.

    chugging problems

    Hi all i have a 99 3500 5spd with just over 200000 miles. The problem is it will start cutting in and out. Seems to happen when there is no load on the engine. And when i turn the quadzilla on it idles likena drag car. I reset the apps with no luck. Any ideas?

    It was smokin with the old injectors and with the new. Thats why i am so confused. Gonna put in an electric lift pump in and see if it helps. Just dont know how one day it runs perfect and after sitting aday with no changes it runs horrible and smokes alot. Think the truck is cursed.lol

    Also the engine has around 135000 on it and the ip has a rebuild sticker on it.
