    Super Duty axle swap Questions

DRW is also Dana 80 for the rear and 8x200 lug pattern. F450/550 is even more different. SRW are mostly same, though other than various spring rates, often determined by what engine.

Also, Mammoth, I’d be glad to make you a deal on what I have and put it on a pallet for you, but you may be better off finding some near you. John Scheel of Kingsland, TX (business name, Absalute Diesel, yes that’s spelled right) gets these axles fairly often, so you might could get some from him.

Only differences that I know of between SRW f250/f350 would be spring rates and maybe rear block thickness. Everything else should be the same.

    Super Duty axle swap Questions

As @ifrythings said, almost everything factory off the 05+ frame/suspension can be used with drilling and hardware. If you go to a kit, that does add to cost a good bit. I’m not sure about the RSK vs coil ride quality (I think they are comparable), but I know with the coils, you will get...

    Super Duty axle swap Questions

I’ve got a 91 f350 drw that’s getting 06 axles. I’m still a ways out on getting to it, though. Too many projects.

    Super Duty axle swap Questions

I’m not sure if there is one here on OB or not, but there are some on other forums. Do some searching around on google and it will point you to some of those threads/writeups.

    Super Duty axle swap Questions

Mammoth, in what part of TX are you? I’m in N. Miss and have a set of 3.73 axles from an 06 f250 or 3.55 axles from an 08-10. I also have one suspension setup to go with either sets of axles. Most of what is said above can be had in 05+ axle setups. F & R disc, coils up front, etc etc. Let me...

Looks awesome. Did the primer do better this time?

    Steering column.

I have a column you could use for parts, if it would work for you...not sure if auto column parts can swap into manual columns or not. It is a tilt and has a hint of up and down (which I think is normal for these tilt columns) but no side to side. Feel free to pm if interested.

Thanks guys. I knew you all would provide the easiest option. Thanks again.

    Starting without steering column

Odd question, I know. I have a 93 F250 7.3 IDI parts truck that runs, but I sold the steering column out of it. Was wanting to fire it up for someone interested in the rest of the truck but have no clue what I need to do to go about it. I’m guessing some pins need to be jumped in the wiring...

Everything is looking great! If the seat handle you made ends up hitting the door panel, would it be possible to remove the handle and put a 90 bend in it? Just an idea.

If IDIoit doesn't have them, I think I have a pair on a parts truck. We'll wait and see if he has his first.

WANTED: Wiring harness for 4-door electric windows

Kizer I actually already purchased a harness that I believe is what I need. I should have updated sooner. And IDIoit is correct in that your 91 would not have this harness for power windows unless someone added it.

    91 7.3 engine 149k miles, ATS turbo, E4OD

Good looking truck. Yeah, I don't mean to offend the International diehards, but I guess different "strokes" for different folks. And I like to look at it like this -- the 7.3 is an International engine, not Ford. The 5.9 is a Cummins engine, not Dodge. Both great engines, just the Cummins...

    91 7.3 engine 149k miles, ATS turbo, E4OD

Hey guys. My 91 F350 is soon to be under the knife. It is currently still together. Long story short, I plan to keep the truck forever, as it was my dad's and my mom and sisters wanted me to have it after his untimely death. Because I plan to keep it forever, I want to make it the way I want...
