is what I'm using
I for years ran a psd bumper cutout on a brick nose, never noticed much difference in the way of temp readings, but I also know it can't hurt to have more air flow. I also was not regularly hauling at max weight to be able to compare readings that way.
If getting hot when towing, you need more...
there is a guy on the zf5 Facebook page out of Canada that makes one. d.j. Patterson.
I have one of his in my truck. it's supposed to be shorter than the Midwest one.
it requires more force to get it into gears, and really doesn't change the shift speed in a noticeable way. it does make it much...
as someone who has bent n/a rods I wouldn't run them on a 130cc pump
if building for some reasonable power start with idit rods and pistons for sure.
also the high egts and low power sound like a failing advanced piston in the IP. that would be my first place to start is with a good quality...
@franklin2 is correct
use anything you have to set between the frame rail and the spring to help adjust where you want rear shackle angle to sit.
this is far more necessary/easily done on obs frames rather than bull/brick because they are longer in the frame horn area
@ttman4 and...
yes 6.4 clutch with a custom adapter, custom wiring harness to control the fan clutch using a motorcraft pigtail, instructions, diagrams, cut out templates, hardware and a pwm controller for the fan clutch complete with coolant temp sensor.
fox shocks are expensive but amazing.
on a rsk super duty v code spring
f350 leveled height
holy moly the difference in ride over Bilstein 5100s
fox resivior on the front pn#985-24-052
non resivior on the rear pn# 985-24-005...
my suggestion is to undo the tie rods from the knuckle and try turning it back and forth. it should be able to turn with little effort.
if it takes a lot of effort there is your binding.
likely kingpins.
could also be gearbox, but generally that is only hard to return to center in one direction
@Nero I'm glad to hear it is working out that well and doing everything you want it to. I also love hearing feedback customers!
@cheap bronco message me and we can work something out
then your buddy has some major boost leaks.
my stage 1 drop in will make 10 psi like nothing, and more if I let it. still breaking in this motor so trying to not be as harsh on it, but last motor built at least 25psi on the same fueling as I have now
89 f250 sas sky's rsk v code springs
with Bilstein 5100 shocks on all 4 corners
not super thrilled with the ride. very bouncy.
it was marshmallowey when first put together, I added the front sway bar and it made the front stay squarer, and made the shocks work together instead of bouncing off...
yes it has been done before.
buddy of mine over on fte did it. standard bore pistons .030 over rings file fit.
my suggestion buy rings for the pistons you buy.
are you taking like a blower motor in line of the air inlet into the motor to increase air flow?
or a turbo from a 12 valve?
you don't need to rebuild the engine to add a turbo to a idi. it will not shorten the life of a idi unless it was already worn out and due for a rebuild.
I have wanted...
