Caterpillar 1693 (D343) 425hp engine
I'm selling a strong running Caterpillar 1693 engine from a USAF Airport Crash Response Fire Truck. The truck odometer shows 013400 miles and the hour meter on the engine shows 290 hours. This engine ruled the road through the 70's and is also commonly used in large boats. I'm asking $5000 OBO...- PCausey

Changing from a C-6 to a ZF S5-42 manual trans w/hydraulic clutch in a E-350 w/6.9
OK Ford friends I have a tech question for you. I installed my new brake pedal support with attached clutch pedal in my '85 E-350. I think the salvage yard I bought it from might have shipped me an assembly from a '84 or older though but with nothing to compare it to I can't tell for sure...- PCausey

I just acquired a '93 model IDIT 190HP turbo engine, tips and info please?
Hello, I'm new to this website and somewhat new to working with diesels but not new at all to mechanical work. I own a 85 Ford E-350 4x4 van with the 6.9 in it and I just purchased a '93 model 7.3 IDIT 190HP turbo engine complete from a local salvage yard today so cheap it'd be bragging to list...- PCausey
