    I put a black dot on the input shaft and a black tape on the output shaft and compared rotations. First gear was 5:1. Second gear was 3:1. Third gear was 1.75:1. And fourth gear was 1:1. I did think to measure reverse but the output shafts did turn in opposite directions. I think I will...

    I have read many times that the C6 is lacking in gears for a truck. A 7,000-lb truck hauling up to 15,000-lbs needs more gears. Sometimes, apparently, a 3-speed automatic is not enough.     A 9-3/4" ring gear is rather small. That is why I am getting the Jana kit for the dana 60s I am using. The Jana kit is a set of adapter bearings to fit a dana 70 10-1/2" ring gear in a dana 60. Is this flywheel something anybody here wants?
