    Have you felt the alternator when the engine is cold?. I had that problem one time and the alternator was warmer than the rest of the engine when it sat overnight. Replaced the alternator and all was well.

    My center link is broken. Does anyone know where I can get one?. Right now the truck has both wheels facing in and I am talking about the part that connects to the tie rod ends and connects to the pitman arm on the steeeing box.     Answer- why dont my brake lights work!

    To check the brake light switch I usually disconnect the swith from the plug and then take a paper clip and insert it in the plug hitting both wires. If the brake lights work then the switch is at fault. Total time is less than 5 minutes doing it that way.
