    ok I'm sure it is on here somewhere but I can't seem to find anything. I have a 96 and it is an automatic. the gear shifter has a lot of slop in it and seems to be getting worse. can someone shed some light on this for me. is it a problem up by the steering wheel or down under the truck?     if your facing the truck its on the right side top where the furl filter goes has one red wire plug on it. its round.

    well i have nailed it down on the leak today. dont seam to be the banjo bolt or the pump. its the black sensor on the right side of the filter bowl. not sure what that is but it has one wire hooked to it?

    262,000 last change about 1000 miles ago. Rottela T also if it helps i now see a small fuel leak right under the truck about where the back of the motor is. i only see the leak when its cool in the mornings now when it heats up no leak??

    no have not checked for bubles yet will do tomorrow. could a bad injector be where my fuel smell is coming from? Also one last question and yes i know i sound really lost but ever since i bought this truck it idels at 1000 RPMS for a few minutes and then drops to 800 is this normal?
