    For 10 years I drove truck for DEKA.My dad retired from there, and my brother has been working there for over 20 years If I ever need to replace a battery in my vehicles I'd go and get a second. You only get a 6 month warranty because of the blemish but I've gotten over 5 years out of them...

    egr delete??

    There are several ways to make the EGR inoperable. Get a SCT Xcal2, or 3, and have the EGR turned off in the PCM is probalby the easiest. Pros no exhaust garbare going back into the intake. Lower EGTs. Cons none that I can think of. Keith

    It can be done to an 04. I have them on my 350. I don't have the part numbers. The front bolts are a pain because the bolt needs to be drive out towards the radiator. That is if you do it yourself and not have a shop do it. Keith

    Mel, you missed a great weekend of people, trucks, and food. There was a Bronce II on a cut down fullsize Bronce frame with a 4BT Cummins in it, and a Ranger with a 4BT in it. I didn't get a chance to take pics of either truck. Keith

    EGR Valve

    Another alternative is to buy a second EGR. Plug the connector into the new EGR then ziptie it out of the way. The EMC will "see: a working EGR but none of the crap is getting into the intake. Keith
