Yup those are actually the headlights out of my 80 toyota. The truck started as an 89 and I hate that grill and composite headlight setup so when I swapped 5" headlights into the yota I just bolted the 7" buckets to the ferd.
It will get a grille one of these days when I get the yota closer...
Just when you thought your penis couldn't possibly get any smaller pypes introduces their new 12" exhaust tip. Made for diesel ricers by diesel ricers. :puke:
It was late and I was kinda drunk so I botched the link. LOL I bought these for my truck and they are long enough to work on the front and back with no mods.
Like these eh?
You need the correct shanked lugnuts like these then.

I have them and they are perfect for a mag type wheel.
My steering stuff is all getting just a little bit lose so I'm in the same boat with replacing it all at once. I'm cheating though, I have all the heims, DOM tubing and weld in sleeves to replace all the stock stuff. :D I'll be installing a hi steer arm on the passenger side and running the...
Didn't trust the remaining studs to hold the tire on to drive yet trusted them to keep the truck on the tow truck. Makes perfect sense to me. LOL
I keep pretty much everything with me when I wheel. Once the 40' 5th wheel is done it'll be a storage house for all the spares so I can...
35's with no lift? Sweet, I'm running 37's with no lift on my 89. :D Why do you need 8" to fit 44's? My yota is lifted less than 3" and sitting on 44's with leaf springs all around. :sly
Stacks on a pickup are the same as a fart can and a spoiler on a honda. Ricer extreme... LOL I drive semi so I have an actual use for stacks but you'll never see one on my tow rig.
I probably text more than half this board put together and you'll NEVER see me shorten a work on purpose. I use punctuation, capitalization and I do my best to spell correctly as to not appear dumber than a 5th grader... LOL
I agree that you see it everywhere but the more people let it slide...
Nope ferd trucks in the late 70's got the snow fighter package. Hence the F250 x cabs with 60's front and rear instead of a standard HP 44 up front. That carried into the early 80's as well.
A good friend had a 97 4 door short box 'stroke F250. You could also get a F350 pre 86 and chances are it'll have TTB under the front. They didn't get a 60 unless it had the "snow fighter" package.
Check out BRANIK'S web site they will sell you already machined shafts ready to go that will not fail in your application. Nothing super fancy about it just tried and true machining for clearance. In all reality you probably don't need something that fancy, a longer pitman arm on your steering...
Good thing no one is trying to do that then isn't it? You don't want a 10 speed we get that, the horse is dead stop beating it.
I'd put a brownie behind my zf5 if I had a divorced np205 to put behind it. I can't see the point in screwing with a light duty truck trying to make believe it's...
If you are after sharper turning there are better alternatives that are cheaper and will turn sharper than the RCV's. Don't get my wrong, the RCV's are a BAD ASS setup but for a DD they will wear quickly because they are soft so they don't shatter under extreme load. You can get yukon CroMo...
Not an IDI but I lost the turbo on my 3406E CAT a couple years ago and it fed off of oil and tried to run away but I got lucky and realized what was happening before it was a problem. I pulled into a rest area in 7th gear doing about 5 mph with the engine trying to pull HARD to get away. I...
Just over 200k and you're talking about a rebuild??? WTF? That engine is barely getting broken in let alone worn out. My dads '01 has just a hair under 400k rather hard towing miles and it's just barely starting to show signs of weakness.
Exactly, cubic inches are not all equal in the engine world by any means. I'm not nearly versed enough in the finite details of it all but I do know that a 22re toyota engine is 2.4 liters and was produced from the early 80's into early '95 when it was replaced by the 2rz 2.4 liter. Same...
7 grand in an IDI? LOL
If I'm going to invest that much into a diesel engine it'll be a 12 valve backed by a NV5600 and I'll STILL be under that magical 7g limit including the whole truck to start with. LOL
Ever hear of dynabeads? They balance the tires dynamically so they are always balanced just right. I run 1 shot glass full in tires under 35" and 2 or more for larger tires. I run quicksilver steel bb's not the copperheads. The copper coating flakes off and will clog the valvecore when you...
