IP advice
Well, that's a good question. It was a freebie that was given to me, along with another one, so I really can't complain. The one was good, brand new rebuild, it runs great. This one had been installed and then soon taken back out, but he thought it was good. I think it was a Ford rebuild.- peacetank1

I'm hoping to get one of those timers in the near future. I should have asked for it for Christmas, but I forgot. I'm no power stroke guy, but I think they have some kind of warm-up valve that does something with the trubo or wastegate or something.- peacetank1

IP problem/question Help!
Ok, here are the sypmtoms: (I've been told the IP is bad, what do you think?) When the cold engine first starts, it smokes A LOT of really light blue (almost white) smoke, and feels like one or more of the cylinders is not firing right. Winter Storage Oil Change??
