    4.10 to 4.88 speedometer jumping

    I just went from 4.10 to 4.88 gears in my 93 f350, now the speedometer is jumping at speeds over 45 mph. We replaced the sending unit in the axle and it still continues to jump. When it jumps it losses 5 mph and it kicks the cruise control down, then back to the correct speed and the cruise...

    I would like to build a 7.3 for 300-325 H.P. I already have a Hypermax turbo & ATS intercooler,stock inj. pump,stock injectors, I'm guessing that I already have about 275 H.P. I pull loads that gross (GCVW) between 25 & 30,000 and do very well, I just don't like having to worry about my EGT so...
