That's a fact. One fitting on each tie rod. Don't worry though, if you're grease crazy like me, you'll soon have the opportunity to replace u-joint by the armful(like me!! :mad: :puke: ) with greasable aftermarket units.- gotdiesel?

Big problem with Muffler delete!!!!
Okay, maybe someone else has had this problem. I installed the muffler elimination kit from Geno's about 3 weeks ago (about a week after pulling the silencer ring). Since then, whenever I'm just tooling around town, on the highway or pretty much anywhere else, I just keep pushing down on the...- gotdiesel?

You know its funny, my buddy's vaccuum pump took a :number2 right before his idler did too. I think the pulley is held on with a TORX headed bolt, for some reason, a number 27 TORX sticks out in my mind. I turn wrenches on a lot of things, from hay balers to tractors to Harleys to fuel pumps...- gotdiesel?

jharvey, I did the tensioner on my buddy's '96 F350 about 5 or 6 months ago, but it should be about the same. If I remember, the tensioner and pulley were about $100 @ NAPA and throw in another $45 I think for the belt. Chances are, if the bushing is gone in the pulley, you've chewed...- gotdiesel?

So, to put the 315 on my truck, I should be able to put the 2" spacer in the front to make room for full articulation and be fine right? Padiesel was right, the deal on the 315's is pretty good and I think they would look pretty damn good on my redneck limousine!!!!- gotdiesel?

Good lookin' truck, jdw. I'm not much of a ford guy, since I found the power of the goat, but I believe the 1990's had the monobeam IFS. I have to agree with Muddy. My '03 is a snap to service. 15 minutes start to finish, 20 if the oil isn't nice and hot. Granted, I got a lift in the shop at work, but I don't see it being much worse on a jack. Just my $.02- gotdiesel?

ISNMU, I don't know about dyed fuel burning better, but the dye concentrate is flammable. I work at a petroleum tank farm and the dye concentrate we use the dye #2 and off road diesel carries the same Hazmat placard(sp) as gasoline (1993).
