96' Auto Bombing ?'s

Upgradeing a buddies truck was thinking a 3"dp and 4"exhaust a stage 2 afe intake gauges and a 65hp bullydog chip is this a good set up? No turbo upgrade or injectors just a chip is there any better options? Thanks Jared
