    In my opinion the hose nipple needs to be a single bump, getting old hard hose off of that barb is not fun, and when they get nicked by the knife that will be used they could leak. BTDT

    cut slots in one of your old head bolts vertically to use that to clean the block threads with to not use a tap it will cut the threads in the block oversized. Unless you happen to have an actual thread chaser then you can use that in the block.

    If the intake SEAT has a crack thats not good, if its cracked OUTSIDE the seat, run it. Been down this road many times. Only if it extends to the actual seat is it a problem. Also, I hate to admit this, there are a few EV trucks out there still running with a couple cracks thru the seat...

    I still think for a mostly towing the 088. You might lose some spool between shifts but it should recover quickly. Also my cam will make it pull like a train, or so im told.LOL

    I have upgrades for all those turbos, I like the wastegated for stick trucks, faster spool between gear changes is one reason. Non gated turbos are generally a bigger turbine and better flow loaded. PM me for more info if you like
