I guess i need to check it then, that could be it. I always measure from mounting face to back of the part inside, never thought about the cup beinng deeper or shallower. I know i bought the master cylinder seperate from booster.- slyhog022056

When i i t the truck the right front calipers would hang up on heavy braking and very little rear brakes. I have searched the forums and cant find the info i need. Cold start issue after new injectors
My leak is definitly the tower cover, leaks on every side, i will try the ultra grey. Now then, may have a leak on the valley pan at the back or a valve cover gasket because i get blowby smoke from back there somewhere, not tearing off the intake to see if its the valley pan but i will change...- slyhog022056

Cold start issue after new injectors
When i removed the timing cover i scribed a mark where the dowel pin is with the 3 bolts on the edge of the cover. it went back in in the exact same place, well it did seem like it, will have to pull the cover again anyway, that damn thing is hell to keep from leaking oil. i go thru a quart...- slyhog022056

Cold start issue after new injectors
Last week i put in new conestoga injectors and had to remove the entire ip with cover to attempt to seal the leaking cover. i scribed a mark so it went back in the same position. not so hard. ever since i changed injectors it wont start cold at all. it starts right up the dies as if it was out...- slyhog022056

White smoke and rattle at idle.
I put in a new cdr valve a couple of months back. havent had a chance to get back to it... new problem, water in fuel... got about 2 quarts of water out of my front tank, just filled up the other day so 2 quarts in about 14 gallons.... guess where i aint buying fuel from again.... had to unhook...- slyhog022056

I have read and understand about injector knocking and white smoke at idle. My problem is the knock comes and goes at times at idle. Above 1200 to 1300 rpm it is completely gone. Ok, bad injector. I keep having problems with my lines from pump to injectors cracking and squirting right at the ball. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there anything i can do to stop this? Low charging issues
ok, got 12.8 at the battery all the way back to alternator terminal not running. runnning i get 13.2 all the way from alt to battery at idle. rev to 1200 rpm i get 13.2... but then i found the problem, got to poking around wires and harnesses and suddenly it jumped to 14.6 so i tried to trace it...- slyhog022056

well advancing it to that point helped a lot, went from 6 mpg to 9 or 10, and believe it or not the windshield visor helped even more, i get 13 on a long drive where the same drive used to get me 10, i dunno, aerodynamics????- slyhog022056
