    Do you have a manual for the vehicle? If the manual available in autozone covers replacing the front wheel bearings, it's probably money well spent.

    The intake has to come off too. I'm not sure with turbo, but on mine, I think the CDR is attached to the back of valley pan.

    That's more than just friction disks - there is a ton of metal shavings. Probably be cheaper to just get a complete new unit rather than try to buy all the hard parts even if you can find them.

    Do you have a center carrier on your driveline (extended cabs)? If so, you could check this. U-joints look good? Weird the drive line would be clunking with brakes applied.

    I would call the shop first. But just in case, here's what I have: Much of this is outside the scope of what a average person can do, but at oil burners, I like to think we are above average - so keep what's useful and discard the rest.

    Have you checked the fluid level? What does the fluid look like? What does it smell like (burnt?). I'd start by checking the fluid and then call the shop that rebuilt it.

    I think temp gauge would be a good start for any truck. Are you running automatic? Do you have a turbo? If you have an automatic, you may want to monitor the transmission fluid temp. If you're running a turbo, get a pyro and maybe boost gauge. I would be interested to see here exactly...

    The shaking steering wheel sounds like a death wobble, but I don't see how that would go away when you push in the clutch. Maybe others can chime in. Is this extended or crew cab(would have carrier bearing)? To check the bearing I would shake the drive line and check for play.

    Would new Statadyne injectors be matched? I would expect they have some specs they need to meet, and new ones would fall within this range. Just curious as I bought some new injectors recently, but did not have them tested.
