    I buy Murray a/c compressors. They are made/rebuilt in Texas. I have had a problem with a rebuilt or two but I can't recall ever having a problem with a new one. I install 1-3 a week through the summer for the last 4 years.

    I called my parts store to find out how many products are made in America. He laughed. I told him I was serious and have told him before to sell more USA. The problem is even the American owned companies import a ton of there parts. I guess its up to You and me to buy American were ever we can.

    Giving cars to the poor is noble. But what happens when someone who can't afford a car has to repair the one that there given. In cases the owner would be able to fix it himself. Owning a car comes with more headaches than just the initial cost.

    If your pyro probe is in your exhaust manifold your on the money now. 1100 degrees is the max I want to see out of mine with that set up. My other truck has the probe in the turbo snail shell I don't like to see it get over 900. If your not already it may be time to look into an intercooler...

    Yes napa and oreilly's sell the kits for around 50 to 100 bucks(its been a while) It should take a couple hours to replace.
