Like 10 lb-ft. Just enough to get some seating without squishing out the RTV or warping the pan. Learned that from my 5 e4od rebuilds! (Not me, PO used mismatched 4r100 parts along with e4od internals)
My brother doesn't care for them, although he did an RSK and used V-codes on his front. It bounces weird on the concrete highway. IMO get the stiffer valved 5100's. I think there are 2 types.
Aside from that his 97 f350 rides absolutely fantastic with them, even through that weird bouncing...
Isn't that their b20 blend? If it is i ran it when i had my c350 down in SD. Truck liked it over straight #2. Mileage went down slightly but I'll take the extra lubricity over the smaller BTU count. Or dump ATF in the tank on a fill up.
#1 diesel is more like kerosene/JP5. Lightyer weight fuel oil that won't gel or get weird with freezing temps. Also has less BTU's per gallon then #2.
There are stations in the San Diego area(actually most of California) That sells B20 competitively priced. The 6.9 loved it when it was down...
Bw1356. Aside from that pump mod. You have a fixed rear yoke? Lucky.
The np205 is tried and true, but HEAVY. so heavy you need that extra crossmember. Also you need to do some trimming of the tailshaft housing.
I gotcha towcat. It operates exactly how i thought it would. Still a 1.22% torque multiplication if it were to spin backwards. The cone clutch would be slipping a lot regardless because in on/off its either forcing to sun/planetaries to move as one or force the sun to stop and the planetaries to...
So the way this is working in my mind is you are using your truck to perform work on the engine, not your engine performing work on the truck. Your axle has a 4.10 ratio, GV has a .78 and your E4OD has .71. When applied backwards, your engine sees a 7.45:1 ratio trying to spin it, vs your engine...
GV does sell a "motorhome" kit that makes more sense than hanging the OD off your tcase/trans. it appears to go in between a 4wd trans output housing and your factory driveline brake/tcase... so that means OD in 4wd if used with a bw1356. Then you can hang the brake off a tcase OR use an...

my question is, why would you need one if you still have your stock drum setup on your rear? Those massive things should be able to hold some weight back!
I recently purchased a set of arm rest pads for the doors off Amazon, when the package arrived and i opened it i was furious. I ordered saddle tan arm rests and what i got were black ones spray painted black. What kind of crap is that?!
I can only think of LMC or NPD for interior pieces but...

Look what i found! defintley going to be worth it on the Centurion over super duty leafs. That broncoair kit uses TTB coils too. Easy Peasy.
As far as i have researched it, the trac bar should be at the same angle as the pitman arm to prevent bump steer. But since you are running a reverse shackle, shouldn't be too much of a problem.
You can always slap an RSK in there. Check out Deaver, Alcan, National or Atlas Spring for a custom pack. A lot of thin leafs will be progressive and travel great when you disconnect the trac-bar. I think National charges $700 for a pair. About the cost of decent springs.
I know most of you read this and say "never enough!" And I agree with you! But I was cruising Summit Racing's website and was looking at their trans coolers and noticed that some coolers have -12AN(3/4") fittings on them. That's a lot of of flow!
My question is, if you were to swap the e4od's...
Pretty much any fullsize tcase up until the super duty will bolt in. Ford did a fantastic job keeping it simple. But the specific tcases in the 80-96 fords were the np208, bw1345, bw1356 and bw4407. The BW1356 is a far superior case, even though it had the poorly designed oil pump problem...
Rockwell 2.5 tons. And 53" tall military treads!
In all reality the coil sprung axle swap is cake. There is a vendor that sells 8x6.5 unit hubs also. Just grab the trans of your choice and the tcase, BAM. 4wd and a dana 60 with 35 spline shafts.
Look up Monstaliner. UV inert bedliner and DIY. super tough and a nice texture! Comes with a can of rust bullet? Some kind of rust inhibitor in a can spray/roll it on.

Honestly just find the "b-code" springs and mess with your shackle angle. Unless you have the PMF conversion brackets, then suck kt up and get some nice springs! Look around pirate 4x4 in the towing section. People that build crawlers and...
