    No power loss or oil consumption, this new ticking noise at idle started today. Anybody recognize that sound? Not overly worried, just trying to see if anybody else recognizes it. Seems to be from the front passenger side, and isn't noticeable at higher rpms. So probably isn't a pulley...

    Just installed new Motorcraft glow plugs and and a Dieselrx GP Controller. Much faster and smoother starts now, I was surprised at what a dramatic difference that made.

    Live in Katy, TX and drive an 83 F-250 w/ the 6.9, she has low miles and plan on keeping her on the road indefinitely. Been reading threads on this forum for a while now and got tired of not being able to post and see people's attachments, looking forward to being on here more.
