The trucks like ours that had cruse control had an eletric deal the cable plugs into. Also 87 and up rears had a speed sensor on the ring gear that can be tapped for a speed signal
Ya they want you to have all the tree hugger crap on your truck as to not ruin thier image. Knew a guy who cummins swapped one of those 08-10 f450 pickups but when they coundout it had and older motor they got very upset and fired him
Does the 87 have the controller on the under the realy or screwed into the head? Mine bieng a swap makes it hard to know as the donor truck had no right fender or wiring on that side
Was this the case even on a 6.9? I know my 7.3 had the wavy thing. Will test resistance in the morning when i get back to the truck. I also have a new in box gp relay ill put in for good measure.
Nope no either with plugs only once they failed. I dont currently have timing equip any symptoms of advanced timing? It seems to run pretty good does smoke though
Went to start the old blue beast this morning and found the glowplugs to be out again and of course i had no cosby juice since it started percect since the new gp. i just recently bought motor craft ones from oreilleys worked great till now nothing. They dont even pull amprage usually you could...
Selectors do wierd stuff mine dosent return right when i switch to the front tank it will seem to go quick but then the previuosly empty tank has some in it. Thos may be why my return caps keep leaking. Something to think on. As far as i know the selectors are unobtainium
Havent heard it run yet, going to see it this coming friday. Im buying it assuming a bad engine. The turbo kit and some other parts are worth what im paying
This is interesting, could have a stock appering cluster (maybe even functioning albut inaccurtly) then have the actual data on your phone where you can see it like a gps?
