    Going to pick up a new alternator for the truck soon figured I would ask if there is a specific brand that has been more reliable than others? Was just going to go to oreillys and pick one up.

    Mine is 3in into a side pipe. Sounds good to me and don't have to mess around with the axle, I guess little cheaper also.

    Those big exhaust look goofy in my opinion. Don't do nothing but make noise, but everyone should build their truck how they like.

    Truck is running again! Went and got new batteries and it fired right up, im sure it was a couple things causing me issues but now it's all new. Two new batteries cost me a small fortune lol. Thanks again everyone.

    The wires with the number written on them are labeled as the fusable links.

    So I repaired some wiring that looked sketchy at the solenoid, put a new solenoid on and when I went to put the battery cables back on I noticed this. Maybe my batteries are junk.     My friend saw a spark come from around the fender solenoid when I went to start.I replaced it with a one I had laying around to to check, still got no crank. I think I got a bad wire, I think it's the push button start wire the PO installed. Gana dig into that soon.

    Got a new GPC and a lifetime warranty starter relay. Gana put them in and see what happens. I replaced the starter, the starter solenoid and all the starter related wiring recently. Will see what happens.
