Anyone here ~ACTUALLY sleeve a 7.3L to a 6.9L bore?

Cheating tool list for gp under turbo
deep sockets, Swivel extensions, 1/4" drive sockets, bendable wrenches, I've even used a socket-to-drill adapter and harbor freight wrench for turning tool bits LOL- rhkcommander

How much CO2...?
If you can borrow one, get a flow meter of some sort. Would give you an idea of how fast you can dump the co2. If it was fast enough the paintball canister *could* work, but I would feel more comfortable with a 5'er or more at least. Better to have too much than just barely hopefully enough...- rhkcommander

I had a huge write up but my phone lost it... So i wont be redoing the math - sorry In runaway the engine will go faster than governed speeds... I estimated a 7.3 N/A will need ~650CFM of air at 5000rpm. So divide 650 by 60 to get CFS... Roughly 11CFS. A 5lb bottle of co2 has ~44 CF. Dont...- rhkcommander

Pressure doesnt magically disappear... Also Air stops coming in when the intake valve closes, and the piston squeezes all of that air when it comes really close to the head into a small gap above the piston and into the combustion chamber. What Clutch for a 6.9 4 speed??
The one on my truck looked like a 10"'er, when i put in new engine i resurfaced flywheel and 11" sachs clutch. Dont know if it is the bearing that came with it but in neutral running it sounds funky unless i keep clutch pushed in or in gear then its smooth. Feels great in every aspect except...- rhkcommander

STOP THIEF!!! What you would do to make your IDI harder to steal...
Most Anything with wiring is crap. These trucks are mechanical ... So a mechanical deterrent is best. Block off or disconnect fuel or air and she wont start.- rhkcommander

Any sources for Motor Mounts?

You can add a capacitor or simpel circuit to make a normal LED blink, or you can be lazy like me and just buy a normally-blinking LED and add a resistor to step down the voltage from 12V to 3V...- rhkcommander

My water in fuel sensor didn't exist when I bought the truck. Still working on that, but I have a fuel filter with the drain at least :puke: Plus I'm the only one around who knows how to (or that I allow to) drive it LOL. It made more sense to me to have them on the left: I can put in keys to the truck while glowing the plugs, gives my left hand more to do since I have a stick shift. Plus it also adds some redundancy - I can use either left or right hand to crank the truck over. And I didn't like that whole...- rhkcommander

Another popular thread by yours truly... Anyway - got the buttons hooked up. Haven't installed the indicator lights yet, was too tired to do that little bit. Pushbutton starter, glowplugs, toggle reverse lights, and soon to be fog lights (haven't finished hooking them up on the bumper)...- rhkcommander

How fast to 1100 egt, Rolling coal too? You could have boost leaks occuring at the top of your levels, this isnt something you can test in the driveway. Took a while of digging, here is the old steel panel. You can see it was so thin I had to use washers to reinforce it on the toggle switches. Plus the holes weren't all round :rotflmao- rhkcommander
